In keeping with its goal of providing high quality instruction to our students, we are so excited to welcome our newest teacher, Eddie “Pause Eddie” Martinez to the Soul 2 Sole staff! We can only imagine how Eddie’s knowledge and teaching will enhance your child’s ability to dance by bringing his skills in Chicago Footwork — as you’ve never seen before!

Eddie has taught all over the United States in studios such as Broadway Dance Center, Debbie Reynolds, Millennium Dance Complex, and Hubbard Street, just to name a few. On top of his various teaching credentials, Eddie has performed on some of the biggest states including MTV’s ABCD, America’s Got Talent, World of Dance, Apollo, and Chance The Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day tour.
An esteemed member of the Hip Hop community, Eddie will be teaching from the core and ground of Chicago Footwork by incorporating the 4 styles [African Tribe, House, Tap, and Breakdancing]. Not only breaking down steps, he will drill the steps and use repetition to ensure learning. Dancing to Juke, pop, hip hop, dubstep, plus more…Eddie will be giving your child a full experience of Chicago Footwork.
Eddie Pause will be teaching Chicago Footwork classes at Soul 2 Sole Dance, Inc. on Wednesdays from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Registration for classes is ongoing so you have not missed out — all classes are Beginner/Intermediate levels for boys and girls, ages 8 and up:
5:00-6:00 pm Hip Hop and Footwork – Hip Hop Footwork incorporates movement from the core and ground of Chicago Footwork and incorporating the 4 styles [ African Tribe. House. Tap. Break Dancing] Not only breaking down steps, but drilling them & using repetition to fully learn them. Dancing to Juke, pop, hip hop, dubstep, plus more…
6:00-7:00 pm House Footwork (using house music over 140 beats per minute)
7:00-8:00 pm Juke Footwork (will use the style of Juke music over 160 bpms; a faster footwork class to really break a sweat.
