Nani began dancing at the age of 8, taking tap classes. When Nani was 13 years old she began dancing hiphop and joined Inside out dance crew. Nani began teaching at the age of 17, doing instensive and setting choreography for competition dances. In high school she was on inside out youth and professional as well as orchises. Nani’s first studio job was at Simply Destinee a non for profit studio that spread awareness on suicide awareness and gives resources to low income families teaching hiphop and Latin fusion classes for 2.5 years. Last year Nani began teaching hiphop at Visceral dance center and became an assistant coach to Inside out Dance Crew. Nani was raised in a low income family and always was looked at as “different.” Her goal is to teach and share with children that dance is fun and you can show how different you are to the world.
